ANZAC Day Dawn Service at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort
Recently Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort held its Annual ANZAC Day dawn service to pay homage to all those who lost their lives in battle.
ANZAC was the term given to the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps soldiers who landed on the shores of Gallipoli Peninsula early on the morning of 25 April 1915 during the First World War. ANZAC day is a solemn day of remembrance, gratitude and national pride where we remember all those who gave their lives for this great country.
120 people of all ages and nationalities joined us for the 6am service on Dolphiin Beach. With the sun rising over the water and the sombre sound of the last post schoing over the bay, this was an experience to remember for all present. |
